Wars Disabled on CAD Stone
Al'Norac, Year of the Shadowed Age
filed by NEMESIS ENFORCER on 2/28/2003

As of today, all wars on the [CAD] stone have been peaced. The reason for this is that an increasing number of CAD members have been going to Ilshenar, Trammel, and Malas, and unfortunately, while in a war guild, you may not be healed or resurrected by another player in the PvP- facets. This does not mean that CAD has given up on "roleplayed wars," it simply means the focus has changed. I will be setting up the [ICD] (Independent City-State of Dracona) stone for use for roleplay wars such as against the Bloodrock Clan, Bregan D'Aerth, the Atalan, and so forth. There are two reasons for this: Firstly, it will give greater control over war-time characters for roleplay purposes, and secondly, it will allow the primary CAD stone to function in defense of Felucca without inconveniencing members. There may be training nights where CAD and ICD are warred to each other, but it will only be for the duration of that training session, and will be peaced thereafter. For the majority of the time though, CAD will remain isolated from all direct wars, since you don't need to be at war to defend against murderers and criminals.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the Rules of Engagement in our bylaws prior to engaging an enemy.

Neutral forces should only be engaged in combat if they are actively assisting an enemy, or if they engage you first.

Allies should never be engaged except in consensual training exercises, or in self defense.
